In March 2025, I was asked if I would be involved in a slice-of-life short film called ‘Postcard Mouth’ written and directed by Jillian Wanga who personally asked me to join the project in the lead role.

The story follows my character, Fawn, a chronic people-pleaser who has been nervously awaiting any contact from a guy named Henry. What was once a friendship between the two has now blurred the lines with something more, but before figuring out what that is, Henry has distanced himself, leaving Fawn to navigate an array of complicated feelings on her own. This film captures the moment of Fawn’s journey of self-discovery and emotional confrontation when she finally decides to end the ambiguity of her relationship… no matter how awkward that may be.

This role was so much fun to play and gave me a chance to explore the nuanced balance of vulnerability and assertiveness involved in walking away for your own peace.
