Beginning of March 2025, I got the opportunity to play Willow in ‘The Walking Corpse’, a short film written and directed by Tommy Brown. The film explores the current life of Damian, an immortal man haunted by a history of trauma and manipulation at the hands of a secret military organisation. After a particularly detrimental depressive episode, he is sent to my character, a woman named Willow who previously also served but now works as a therapist away from the action.

Throughout an intense conversation which blurs the lines between therapy and an interrogation, Willow has to peel back the layers of Damian’s psyche while keeping him in his current role. She’s a very complex character as she too must deal with lifelong scars which have left her with a very strong sense of self-preservation that she must balance with the compassion, understanding and patience required in her job. This film was very interesting to be a part of and it was very fun investigating Willow’s world!
